Gas-fired generation Power delivery Environmental retrofits Renewables and new technology Water/wastewater We are a high performing team of engineers and designers that develop projects through the project life-cycle engaging exciting projects throughout North America. Our staff leads the power markets engineering process and collaborates with Kiewit's construction teams to approach construction-driven engineering with a focus on safe, cost-effective, and innovative designs that achieve client expectations and further Kiewit's legacy of excellence. LOCATION This position is based out of Lenexa, KS. RESPONSIBILITIES o Utilize applicable engineering national and local codes o Design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion utilizing engineering documents, sketches or vendor data. o Reports project progression updates and/or issues to project lead team. o Coordinates with project team by utilizing the Project Database:
Request for Review Process, Holds List, ECN, Request for information from other disciplines, and all other applicable functions. o Develops 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and design skills. Checks and navigates in the 3D models for interferences and constructability. o Routes electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule. o Model electrical components using vendor submittals and electrical designs o Perform calculations to check allowable fill in conduits and cable tray systems according to NEC requirements and size pull boxes. o Perform calculations to size pull boxes according to NEC requirements. o Gathers information needed to develop design and verify voltage separation requirements are met. o Creates plan drawings and details for electrical deliverables. o Analyze, inspect, and construct designs while adhering to electrical quality standards and department procedures o Checks design for consistency, safety, operability, and maintenance requirements before submitting to checking. o Resolves checked drawings; prove and understand comments made. o Completes miscellaneous tasks to support project development. o Acts as a field resource to assist construction in field resolution on issues. QUALIFICATIONS o At least 8 years' experience in Design and/or Drafting disciplines with a background in electrical design o Experience utilizing 3D programs such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or SP3D and have knowledge of the latest computer operating systems. o Must be able to conceptualize in a 3D environment. o Ability to work in a growing, adaptive and multi-discipline team environment o Ability to work independently with limited direction and oversight o Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language Additional Requirements:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Architecture & Interior Design, Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
