SUMMARY Handling and supervision of complex and litigated liability claims.
Responsible for the investigation of coverage, liability and damages, negotiating with contractors, public adjusters and attorneys, through the life of the claim, maintain a pending and closing ratio of 100%, be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of reserves and payments, presenting large loss report and communicate with their manager as well as internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following:
Negotiate and settle liability and property claims Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients Ability to interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to maintain various responsibilities under critical deadlines.
Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel to ensure client's money and claims are protected Knowledge of current case law, statutory law, DOI regulations, etc.
that apply to claims practices and issues within the territory of operation.
The ability to determine, evaluate, investigate and resolve claims Demonstrate sound analytical skills.
Other duties as assigned CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS Multiple state adjuster licenses preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
