Quick Apply Full-time 18 hours ago Full Job Description Job Function Analyst to work in a USDA-licensed Quality Control laboratory in animal vaccine field.
Must follow safety precautions in the laboratory.
Shall investigate and document any testing deviations.
Must meet current training requirements per the established schedule and train on new procedures/requirements as required.
Job Duties - to include:
Demonstrate proficiencies in all QC assays necessary for the release of finished products in accordance with the 9 CFR regulations Conduct sterility, mycoplasma, cell culture assays, potency assays, ELISAs, chemical assays and stability testing on raw, lot and finished materials as needed Work with various types of cell lines, viruses and bacteria Perform various assays in a BSL3 and/or Select Agent laboratory Maintain a QMS (Quality Management System) database - tracking testing information, test serum inventories, QC lot numbers, procedures and methods Write Standard Operating Procedures, Special Outlines, test methods and reports (as needed) Support all Production activities in a timely manner Complete all internal QC Test Requests Education/Knowledge/Requirements BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Microbiology or related science Background sufficient to pass FBI Background Check At least one year QC experience in regulated industry preferred Regulatory knowledge and environmental requirements knowledge preferred Experience with standard QC Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Microbiology methods Demonstration proficiency in MS Office, including MS Sharepoint Salary Range $35,000-$50,000 - based on experience/background Job Type:
