Quality Control Supervisor

Full-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description QC Supervisor The QC Supervisor will lead multi-skilled employees in quality control functions to ensure compliant, efficient, timely, and cost-effective quality operations.
Provide timely support to Quality Supervisors/Managers and other personnel in issues regarding projects, trouble-shooting, and employee relations.
Lead multi-skilled personnel as assigned, to ensure that performance meets established safety, quality/Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quantity and cost standards.
Manage, coordinate, and directly supervise employees including coaching, counseling, performance reviews and feedback/initiating corrective action as needed, in a timely fashion.
Manage scheduling and adherence to proposed release dates.
Provide leadership and support to quality control personnel in solving technical problems or contacting other resources as appropriate to solve problems.
Ensure compliance of local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines (e.
g.
, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc.
).
Ensure SOPs for areas of responsibility are updated, accurate, and complete.
Participate in cost reduction programs with respect to waste and other inefficiencies.
Critical understanding of proper and thorough laboratory investigations Support QA Operations as required for laboratory investigations.
Continuous improvement and assessment of laboratory practices to eliminate over-processing of data.
Adhere to GMP and/or GLP standards as required for daily operations.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
