Director of Content Development and Operations POSITION SUMMARY The Production Specialist is responsible for the production aspects of all print and online products and provides overall design support for the production team.
PRIMARY TASKS/DUTIES:
Video production and distribution Collects and prepares videos for distribution (collect from production, video editing, upload to video host, storing video files, etc.
) Prepares and shoots video and still photography for in-house video shoots, clients and Family Features Creates video files for editors (instructions, images) Creates video product images for media site Ensures videos are uploaded to all primary channels Uploads videos to all distribution channels Optimizes descriptions and tagging of videos Learns - Reads blogs/websites/books to ensure personal skills and Family Features' systems are consistent with current best practices Print and online product design Review images for size, quality and editorial appeal; edit photos, if necessary Maintain and implement company editorial standards Prepare project files for distribution ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES:
Ability to translate feedback and creative direction into print and online design and video production Prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Update/maintain company standards Attend internal meetings and brainstorming sessions Conduct stock photo searches, as needed POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience HTML coding skills using Dreamweaver Intermediate skills in Adobe applications including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Fireworks Knowledge of video compression software (Adobe Premiere) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and database software Basic working knowledge of public relations, advertising, marketing, publishing, media and online industries and tactics Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to work well with others in collaborative role Must take direction and assert ideas quickly, and accept and utilize constructive criticism Must have superior attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines and demonstrate flexibility and skill moving between assignments TYPICAL OUTCOMES AND MEASUREMENTS:
