Summary:
The Security Compliance Engineer reports to the Senior DevSecOps Manager and is responsible for supporting the Company's software solutions by assisting with the development, implementation, and administration of the Company's security program and systems, monitoring and enforcing compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards, and overseeing the design and implementation of security and technology systems and infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our residential division as an experienced Security Compliance Engineer, who is knowledgeable about application and data security controls, knows how to identify gaps as it relates to compliance, and works as a liaison between all departments to advise on requirements, standards, and policies and how to comply with the same in all aspects of technology support.

This position is part of our residential division, which provides communication solutions in both print and digital formats to condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowner associations throughout the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will demonstrate proven work experience in protecting software applications, keeping applications, data, computer systems, and network devices hardened against attacks, providing security services to protect highly sensitive data, and scaling and automating security infrastructure and processes.
Other key responsibilities include:
Assist with the development, implementation, and administration of Company's security program and systems by monitoring and enforcing compliance policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards Maintain and enforce adherence to corporate, client, and SOC policies, standards, processes and procedures Perform security compliance assessments on controls, processes and reports on findings Use various application security tools and platforms to generate reports and obtain data Track, monitor, and report all risk related findings and make recommendations to stakeholders to ensure resolution of any issues discovered in the audits/reviews Track, monitor, and ensure non-compliant findings are remediated Maintain and enhance documents, procedures, processes to support an efficient compliance program Assist in developing metrics and dashboards for reporting on assigned compliance programs Help identify controls to improve compliance and security program improvements Develop strong recommendations for corrective actions to reduce risk and to ensure compliance Assist with the compilation of evidence in preparation for any audit or compliance check Assist and advise with security elements of infrastructure or application projects Provide analysis of day-to-day security activities, identify, and manage cyber risks, prepare remediation plans, be able to effectively draft compliance documentation Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of all environments including compute, storage, data, serverless, networks and information systems
Experience:
Candidates must have three years' relevant work experience in security controls, incident response, database architecture, risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
