Position SummaryThe Benefits Analyst must have an understanding of all aspects of human resources and a demonstrated tactical approach to health, welfare and retirement programs for a successful company.
This person will have responsibility for administering current programs and assisting in investigating new programs for the purpose of improving existing offerings.
The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the daily administration and compliance of all Company benefit programs including health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, EAP, life insurance, and 401(k) plan.
Job ResponsibilitiesoEducates employees regarding provided benefits through thoughtful and meaningful communication initiatives that will enhance and increase the understanding and value of the company's benefit offerings.
oMaintains strong partnerships with Broker(s)/Vendors and ensures benefit administration is efficient.
oCoordinates and administers benefits day to day.
Evaluates and revises internal processes to optimize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
oResponds to and resolves employee concerns regarding benefit plans; advises, approves, or denies exception requests.
oOversees the updates and maintains all summary plan descriptions.
oPartners closely with the Finance Department to provide integrated benefits financial reporting.
oEnsures data integrity of employee benefits data and records.
oReconciles and submits all benefits invoices in coordination with the Finance Department.
oParticipates in creating benefit communications for new hires, monthly enrollees, annual re-enrollees, and qualified changes.
Manages all collateral and plans and manages annual open enrollment.
oSupports acquisitions by conducting benefit analyses and coordinates the implementation of all health and welfare programs for same.
oPartners with plan auditors conducting audits and ensures them an understanding of Plans and cause and effect of audit results.
Ensures non-compliance issues are remedied.
oObtains on-going knowledge of industry trends.
Completes benefit surveys and reviews information obtained to benchmark the company's competitiveness.
Requirements:
Required Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesoExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
oStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
oExcellent organization and administration skills along with proven success with meeting deadlines and goals.
oProficient in project management.
oMust have a clear understanding of benefits concepts such as:
self-funded/fully insured products and voluntary benefits.
oStrong computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Internet, Outlook).
oProficiency with Human Resources Information Systems and specifically Benefit technologies.
A plus would include use of, and implementation experience with, a variety of HRIS oExperience working in a multi-cultural environment; bilingual skills considered a plus.
oSolid understanding of laws that govern health and welfare plans to include Affordable Care Act, ERISA, and the IRS.
oA bachelor's degree or comparable education and experience.
oMinimum 5 years of experience to include benefits administration, experience with self-funded plans a plus.
oPHR, SPHR and/or CEBS professional designations preferred.
oRelated experience in the restaurant industry would be a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
