Kansas City, MO/KS (Lenexa, KS) What does the Experitec IT Technology Specialist role look like? Some examples of your day-to-day activities could include working with end users to troubleshoot issues with their devices or applications, setting up new users, assisting in replacing devices for users, system and network troubleshooting, purchasing IT equipment for use, and supporting advanced application issues.
The primary goal of your role will be to deliver quality customer service to our end users while determining root causes to complex multifactorial problems.
In addition to these responsibilities, you would be responsible for:
Active Directory/DNS maintenance and troubleshooting.
Configuring and maintaining 365 applications and deployments.
Maintaining a positive employee relationship to identify additional issues that may not have been reported.
Support digital transformation initiatives.
Achieving technical knowledge of the products and services we deploy.
Embracing and reflecting Experitecs Core Values.
Serving the team through your technical knowledge and technical leadership.
Typical work assignments include:
Maintaining software licenses and deployments.
Responding to security concerns.
Providing employees with technical education.
Supporting employee questions and concerns.
Providing critical hardware support.
Managing and deploying mobile devices and plans.
Troubleshooting and resolving Windows issues.
Triaging employee issues.
Giving software and hardware recommendations.
Purchasing end user equipment.
Troubleshooting proprietary software issues.
Assisting with Security Initiatives which could include software deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting issues, and proactive remediation of found issues.
Who can do this job? A qualified candidate will have the following attributes/qualifications/skills:
Bachelors or associate degree in information technology, Networking, Electronics, Communication or Computers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
