Cleaner Clean and sanitize the food production equipment per cleaning procedures.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks, which may include scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
Empty and clean trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to waste management guidelines.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors, to maintain a hygienic environment.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as chemicals, following safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain stocks of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked and in good working condition.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
Support other staff members or departments when necessary, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning - Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required Note:
Previous experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided.
