We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our construction company as a Warehouse Inventory Director.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including daily material orders, inventory management, bulk orders, cost sheet updates, and delivery routes.

Responsibilities:
1.
Warehouse Operations Daily:
1.
Receive and compile daily order requests for teams in the field, ensuring accurate quantities to support field operations.
2.
Maintain security and limit access to the warehouse.
3.
Schedule and manage field deliveries.
Provide concise routes and clear directions.
4.
Use material tracking system to ensure warehouse inventory is updated and accurate on a daily basis 5.
Compare non-supply house sources (Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot) to ensure the company is using the best quality, lowest price components.
Weekly and Monthly/Bulk Orders, Ensure each week sufficient material is in place to support the following week's operations Restocking of warehouse inventory, based on usage.
Must be able to look at prior months, and forecast future months usage to order sufficient stock-on-hand to support field operations.
Monthly price comparisons (or more frequent on volatile items) across all supply houses, and non-supply houses, to determine the best available pricing for each order.
Receive bulk orders and check what was ordered against what was delivered, ensuring accurate quantities and pricing.
Any discrepancies are handled directly with the supply house.
Conduct month-end inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy and provide reasons for any ending inventory variance.

Monthly Cost Sheet Updates:
Create a Monthly Cost sheet for material pricing across the company.
This involves using proprietary spreadsheets and computer-based systems.

General
Responsibilities:
Maintain strict control over warehouse access, ensuring only authorized personnel, including the delivery and inventory staff, have access to the facility.
Develop and Implement a system for the to track and record all materials taken by service personnel visiting the warehouse, ensuring full accountability.
Optimal system will track inventory on all service vehicles.
Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse inventory, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong numerical and analytical skills to manage material counts, costs, and inventory.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in using spreadsheets and inventory management software.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, delivery personnel, and other team members.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of electrical materials, their pricing, and availability is a plus.
