The Director of Accounting/Finance will direct and oversee the financial activities of the company, direct the preparation of all current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts.
This is a key leadership role influential in the success of current operations and future growth.
Responsibilities:
Interface with all senior executives on financial matters.
Assist the Sales organization with ROI for prospective clients.
Oversee the Accounting department, budget preparation, payroll, and audit functions.
Works with executives to make recommendations on cost and profitability.
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and compliance reports.
Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
Reviews the OGSM planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of growth, reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas by close interaction with the Head of Sales.
Requirements:
The ability to evaluate a competitive landscape and offer keen financial advice to the executive team in easy to understand and realistic plans for execution.

Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
Quick Books a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
MBA preferred.
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
