Respond to emails; answer phones; greet clients and prepare them for meeting with attorney.
Prepare, draft, and organize case files for submission.
Print, copy, and organize file documents.
Scan documents.
Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with attorney.
Assist in case process by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; drafting forms and letters; generating status reports.
Keep clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress.
Support case preparation by preparing case summaries; organizing materials for team case review.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills:
Computer literacy - specifically Microsoft Office suite.
Word.
Outlook.
Excel.
Proficiency in English Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities Excellent telephone and email communication skills This position may be changed to full time in the future.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
