This role favors the strong financial accountant, who is extremely analytical and thrives on the challenges inherent in dissecting complex problems within a manufacturing environment, utilizing facts/data to derive a conclusion and delivering clear recommendations to drive results.
Key
Responsibilities:
Business Case & What-if scenarios development that calculates: ROI, NPV, and EBITDA trade-offs, Sensitivity Analysis and Rate / Volume Analysis against forecasts / budgets and business trends.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
Creation & calculation of scorecards, metrics and operational goals tracking related to manufacturing
Develops and implements forecasting & budget models that reflect current manufacturing design and tie into overall company P&L and metrics.
Develops and Presents business analysis, recommendations for course corrections and alternatives to Leadership Team.
Analysis and Reporting of monthly results including accounting Impacts (Includes clear translation & ability to reflect new accounting policies changes into forecast / budget models, etc. )
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
Clear understanding of cost accounting / manufacturing drivers and ability to translate and interpret these within financial results
Proven track record of building complex business cases performing NPV, ROI, sensitivity analysis
Solid financial analysis (8-10 years), forecasting, budgeting and planning experience, within a manufacturing environment
Understanding of GAAP and interactions within a balance sheet & P&L
Experience with SAP or other financial reporting systems
Excellent communication skills: ability to present analytical results in verbal and written form and ability to deliver presentations and influence senior management
Strong problem solving, data analysis and teamwork skills are essential
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related, CPA or CMA Preferred
8-10
years of progressive business experience in accounting and/or finance with strong focus on costing.
8- 10
years experience working with SAP and/or other known ERP systems at a GL level.
Strong database background and ability to move / translates large amounts of data into an actionable view
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
