Job Description
SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, provides technical support to customers, product specialists and consultants with regards to technology products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site or remote installations, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and
repair
of complex equipment and systems.
o Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.
o Performs on-site or remote customer work including design, installations, repairs, testing, upgrades and/or maintenance on technical products.
o Identifies customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
o Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Resolves customer problems and answers questions.
o Serves as liaison between the company and customers.
o Conveys customer feedback to technical design and engineering staff.
o May provide ongoing application, network and security support including servers, firewalls, routers, active directories, etc.
o May assist less experienced peers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o Associates degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
o Minimum of six to nine years of experience in related field; or
o An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Strong knowledge and advanced understanding of integration concepts and technologies including:
Network OS, Technologies and Protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
Network Load Balancing
Network Hardware
Packet Sniffing and otheranalytical tools
Server Technology:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008/2008R2, 2012/2012R2
Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2008R2, 2012
Server Clustering
Active Directory
