Environmental Project Manager
Job Description:
To accomplish goals, our environmental manager will have the ability handle a number of tasks. Manage on-site workers to ensure they are complying with regulations. Work with clients to prepare bids for client projects and perform administrative tasks as necessary.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
? Procure materials, equipment, and supplies for projects, if necessary
? General office skills such as filling out paperwork and submitting reports
? Travel to job site, if necessary. It is anticipated that out of town travel may be 10-15 percent of the time however, this estimate may change based on client needs
? Pass a company paid, baseline health physical and drug screening
? Provide an aggressive and pro-active approach to client needs
? Ability to obtain, and keep in good standing, a valid drivers license
Qualifications:
? Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 years of environmental working environment.
? Must be proficient in the use of the PC, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
? Must possess the ability to create professional business documents (letters, reports, memoranda, etc.)
Nice to Have:
? Certification as asbestos and/or lead inspector
? 40 Hour Hazwoper
? OSHA 10 or 30 HourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
