Vehicle Description After spending 60 years together, the time has sadly come where I must say farewell to my 1964 1/2 Mustang.
I bought the 260 V8 C4 3 speed automatic transmission Mustang coupe in May, 1964 after seeing the first Mustangs put on display at the New York World's Fair.
It was love at first sight.
In 2005, I had a restoration done.
Added a Monte Carlo bar, a larger size lower sway bar and fog lights in the front.
Installed a Pertronix I electronic ignition system and sequential rear turn signal LED lights.
This Mustang was pictured in the New York Times along with nine other 1964 Mustangs in 2014 for an article observing the 50th anniversary of the Mustang and their original Mustang owners, This Mustang was also featured in the July, 2017 issue of Mustang Times magazine.
I hate to say goodbye.
Looking for a buyer who will give my longtime companion a good home in the years to come.
